University’s presentation

The University of Siena is one of the most prestigious and oldest European Athenaeum, founded in 1240. Through the centuries, it has proved an excellent quality of education and research.

Nowadays, our university is facing a constantly changing scenario, where competition and collaboration among Higher Education Institutions represent both a challenge and an opportunity.

Over the years, the University of Siena has promoted its internationalization strategy with the aim of fostering its academic relations and attracting high-profile students and researchers from different parts of the world.

USiena offers 33 Bachelor Degrees, 36 Masters Degrees, 5 Long-cycle degrees, 23 PhD Programmes and a number of post-graduate and specialization courses.

To facilitate studies for international students, various study programs in different disciplines are offered entirely in English (1 bachelor's degree and 17 master's degrees). 17 Double Degree programs available with 13 different destinations have been activated, allowing enrolled students to obtain their final degree from both the University of Siena and the partner Institution.
