With 12 departments, over 70 degree programs at the bachelor’s and master’s level, and 16.000+ students, h_da is one of the largest Universities of Applied Sciences in Germany. In the most recent University Ranking conducted by Wirtschaftswoche, h_da made the top 5 of most-wanted graduates on the job market.
It is also very attractive internationally: about 18% of our students are international students. Darmstadt forms part of a bigger metropolitan region, called the Rhine-Main area. Frankfurt, one of the major financial hubs in Europe, is only 20 minutes away by train, so students can explore the perks of a the German “Mainhattan” anytime. Other large cities such as Wiesbaden, Mainz and Heidelberg are also close-by.
