University’s presentation

BAS was established in 1869 and has 42 scientific units - institutes and laboratories - in all branches of science. The Academy is a higher education institution which teaches only doctoral (Phd) students. Notwithstanding, we accept all Bachelor, Master and Doctoral students for training. We have been participating in Erasmus since 2009-2010. Free courses in Bulgarian are offered. A course brings 20 ECTS.
